Qlik Technologies and Mentor Foundation USA hosted a special year-end program presentation on Dec. 6, 2016 with the 11 career mentoring students from William Penn School District’s Penn Wood High School.
Mentor Foundation USA welcomes Yorktel, our new Career Mentoring Program corporate partner. This partnership allows us to bring our career mentoring program to 20 students in the Eatontown, New Jersey area.
For five years, BakerHostetler Law Firm in Washington, D.C. has supported Mentor Foundation USA’s Career Mentoring Program. This school year, 20 juniors from Roosevelt High School and eight mentors from BakerHostetler kicked off the Career Mentoring Program on October 26.
On Nov. 23 and 24, scientists, doctors, professionals, and other activists joined Pope Francis at the Pontifical Academy of Sciences to discuss the scientific aspects on drug abuse and find socio-political solutions to the epidemic.
Mentor Foundation USA and its social media campaign, Living the Example are expanding on the direct peer-to-peer influence of the Youth Ambassador Network in schools to provide teenagers the opportunity to promote healthy, positive lifestyles while advocating against drug abuse in the digital age.
A key part of our drug prevention program at Ichabod Crane, Germantown and Taconic Hills is our Youth Ambassador Network. We currently have 41 youth ambassadors who have been trained in leadership as well as social media advocacy and branding.
Our 41 inspiring Youth Ambassadors at Ichabod Crane, Taconic Hills and Germantown high schools are spreading motivational and educational messages among their peers about pursuing their dreams while making healthy, drug-free life choices.
This varsity soccer and track star is choosing to stay away from drugs to help educate those with the "gene of addiction." Chloe lives the example by reminding us that we must fight the urge to put ourselves before others, because you will eventually see the good in everyone.
