Mentor International turns 25 this year! Mentor was founded in 1994 by HM Queen Silvia of Sweden in collaboration with the World Health Organization, originally working in the field of drug use and substance abuse prevention. Mentor International is the leading international non-profit institution that develops substance-abuse prevention programs for youth. Mentor’s goal is for our global youth to reach their fullest potential through guidance so they may lead healthy, substance free lives.

Mentor is represented in Denmark, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, UK, USA, and across the 22 Arab League countries. Collectively, Mentor has implemented projects in over 80 countries, impacting more than 6 million youth. Their work has been recognized by the United Nations Office on Drugs & Crime, the Organization of American States and the Council of Europe.

To celebrate this milestone, Mentor is asking our supporters to create a birthday fundraiser to show your appreciation for drug free lives!
