We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ms. Gudrun Giddings as the new President & CEO of Mentor Foundation USA.
Gudrun currently serves as the President and Chairman of The Swedish American Chamber of Commerce-LA, and is the CEO at G4C Innovation, and one of the founders of Entertainment Capital Network. Gudrun is also working as a social entrepreneur and has over 20 years of experience within the media and entertainment business.
The breadth and depth of Ms. Giddings’s experience in leadership, organizational management, fundraising, and partner development make her the ideal candidate for the role as President & CEO of Mentor Foundation USA.
Gudrun has served on Mentor Foundation USA’s Board since 2015 and most recently as Chairman. She has been instrumental in supporting the organization’s development, and under her leadership, Mentor Foundation USA also announced the opening of an LA-based office last year.
I am deeply honored to take on the President & CEO position at Mentor Foundation USA and continue to serve together with our extraordinary team and superb Board of Directors.

Gudrun takes over this role from Michaela Pratt, who over the past decade helped build Mentor Foundation USA to the organization it is today. Michaela will be joining the efforts of Second Genesis Foundation, an organization with a mission focused on providing support in the areas of substance use prevention, recovery, and research.
I look forward to continuing to make a difference in this important area, especially after the impact COVID-19 had on communities around the U.S. Gudrun and I have been working in close proximity the past few years, and I feel confident leaving the leadership of this wonderful organization in such capable and dedicated hands.
