“Success is defined by a variety of meanings and outcomes that hold the greatest significance
to us.”
Throughout my career, I’ve discovered that the most fulfilling moments stem from using my
knowledge to benefit others. It all began with a profound realization during my early days in
healthcare. As I extended a helping hand to a patient in need, I recognized an intrinsic
gratification that transcended monetary rewards. This epiphany ignited a passion within me to
make a positive difference wherever I could.
Guided by this principle, I was eager to empower individuals. My professional endeavors,
particularly my role in co-founding American Health Care, epitomize this commitment. Through
our patient-centered approach, we revolutionized pharmacy benefits and instituted programs
grounded in the best clinical practices. Beyond organizational success, I found immense
fulfillment in mentoring the talented professionals within our ranks and witnessing tangible
improvements in the health and well-being of countless patients
.
I also mentored many people in my company in all levels of positions to be the best possible
person they can be. Providing each person that wanted to make a difference in their live, I
promoted education. Hours were adjusted to go to class, as well as, a stipend for finishing the
course. Many started out with just a high school diploma and ended up with a master’s degree.
Their career may have started at the customer service level, but ended up in upper
management to Vice President in their division.
Driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence, I recognized a need for innovative solutions in
healthcare. This realization inspired the development of a proprietary software system, that was
adopted by hospitals nationwide, to streamline patient care through virtual medical charts.
Parallel to my healthcare endeavors, I embarked on a distinct yet equally rewarding venture:
Wise Villa Winery and vineyard. From its inception, I immersed myself in every facet of the
winery’s evolution. While my involvement has transitioned over time, I now assume a role of
wine tasting and have retired from wine making.
My mission over the years has remained unchanged: to leverage knowledge and experience
for the betterment of others. Each endeavor, whether in the boardroom, helping employees or
helping patients, represents a testament to the transformative power of altruism and dedication
