Francisco Semião is an executive level professional with over 20 years of experience in healthcare administration, non-profit management, domestic policy, and international relations. He holds graduate degrees from The George Washington University School of Public Health and Marymount University School of Business.
During his career, Francisco has served in positions overseeing successful grant proposal submissions and appropriation requests totaling over $90 million, managed numerous advocacy and community health initiatives, facilitated numerous social enterprise related B2B, B2C, and B2G opportunities, and coordinated government and regulatory affairs efforts at the state and federal levels. Francisco has also served on the boards of several charitable and social cause nonprofit organizations that helped to empower members of the Latino and Portuguese American communities.
Additionally, Francisco participates as a recurring policy analyst for Spanish and Portuguese media on NTN24, TVV, Telemundo, Univision, AzoresTV, SIC, and RTP. Francisco currently serves as Director of Regulatory and Federal Affairs at MedStar Health.
