During the month of March, Youth Ambassadors at Old Mill High School had their music video, an “LTE Anthem” and a Public Service Announcement playing at their school. The “LTE Anthem” and PSA shared a positive message of healthy living.
The Youth Ambassadors also dedicated the month of March to visiting all freshmen classes to present and spread awareness among their peers on the dangers of substance use and how it affects young people. Along with their presentations, ambassadors gave away custom “Living the Example” wristbands and raffle prizes for students that engaged with the LTE social media page. Ambassadors reached the entire freshmen class of 580 students. This effort helped to create a buzz about the Living the Example program before the ‘Shatter the Myths’ Youth Rally in April.
