Youth Ambassadors at Glen Burnie High School participates in Health Fair

29 April 2019 | Change Projects

On April 27th, 2019 Youth Ambassadors participated at the “Steps for Hope” Health Fair at Glen Burnie High School. In partnership with the school, the ambassadors set up a booth to distribute booklets and resources to families in the community. They also hosted stations including soccer, cornhole, and mini basketball to highlight healthy activities and the importance of staying drug-free to enjoy these activities and more in life. Raising awareness and having a presence among community members was a big focus.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with the ambassadors and Mentor to support our Steps for Hope event at school this year, and we look forward to continuing these programs in years to come. It was a great change project to bring drug awareness to the community.
