We serve students at (you choose location):
– Cesar Chavez Parkside Campus: 3701 Hayes St NE, Washington, DC 20019 – Every other Tuesday from 3:45-5:15pm
– Cesar Chavez – Capitol Hill Campus: 709 12th Street, SE, Washington DC 20003 – Every other Thursday from 3:45-5:15pm
The goal of the mentoring program is to help reduce the risk factors that could lead to negative outcomes such as high school drop out or substance abuse, by providing an additional caring adult in the life of a young person. You don’t have to have all the answers, you just have to be willing to listen and share what you know.
Our mentors come from all walks of life–all caring and professional adults who motivate students to abstain from drugs, Dream More, Learn More, and Do More! In addition to providing tools for college readiness, professional development, cultural sensitivity, and social engagement we provide mentees with the guidance to plan early on for a lifetime of success!
Join our fantastic mentoring team today! We need you!!
