Tell us a little about your self and what you do for a living.

I am originally from Mobile, AL but grew up primarily in Jacksonville, FL. I am the oldest of 3 kids. I have been working in finance for the past 4 years, but will be transitioning to my own business. As of of last year my partner and I have been developing a mobile app (NEaction) that is expected to release next month.

Who has inspired you most in your life?

My parents have been my main source of inspiration throughout my life. Since the day i was born my father has been apart of the Navy. We have experienced moving from city to city and being apart physically, but always together spiritually. Having your father go on multiple 6-9 month deployment taught me a sense of responsibility and adaptability at an early age, which is a prime reason I am the person I am today.

What would you say is the most rewarding part of being a mentor?

The best part of being a mentor is that you have the ability to invest time into an individual that wants help and guidance. If devoting time out of my day increases the likely hood of our youth succeeding, then I will gladly do so.

Where would you be today without mentors in your life?

I am very fortunate to share this experience with my mentee. I am a firm believer that everything in life happens for a reason, and believe that we were meant to cross paths in life. I am excited to witness the development of my mentee through the good and bad.
