On June 7, Mentor USA hosted a scholarship awards ceremony, with the SFIG Foundation, for Anne Arundel County ‘Living the Example’ students. Over $260,000 in scholarships were awarded to 8 students with high financial need to attend colleges all over the country.
Executives, parents, and friends all attended to support the students in the community. Twin students, Jeremy and Joshua Davidowcz, were both awarded $40,000 each. In their emotional speeches, they thanked the SFIG Foundation and Mentor USA for taking a huge burden off of their parents’ shoulders.
Mentor is especially grateful to Wegman’s for their generous food and flower donation that rounded out the evening. Follow below to see highlights from the event.
