2020 Structured Finance Foundation Benefit
Last week, Structured Finance Foundation held its annual benefit dinner at the Plaza Hotel in NYC. ‘Youth Ambassadors’ Jeremy and Joshua Dawidowicz, twin brothers from Pasadena, Maryland who were each awarded the full $40,000 scholarship from the Structured Finance Foundation in 2019, shared with the audience how much the award has meant for their family, which includes three kids living on a single parent annual income of $30,000. Jeremy and Joshua both attend the University of Maryland where they are thriving and pursuing degrees in Financial Economics.
This event raised important funds for the scholarship program – helping those in need build a better future.
This scholarship is helping me further my dream of going to college and not have to worry about finances.
Jeremy Dawidowicz, 2019 Scholarship Recipient
Helping those in need build a better future
In 2017, we formed a partnership with the Structured Finance Foundation and Scholarship America to further educational opportunities for underserved youth. This partnership offers scholarship opportunities exclusively to students in our Career Mentoring or Youth Ambassador programs.
Since the formation of this partnership, in just three years, the Structured Finance Foundation has awarded 29 students from our programs nearly $900,000 in scholarships, with $500,000 already distributed. These life-changing scholarships are a wonderful example of organizations working together to make a bigger impact.
Our 2020 Scholarship recipients will be announced in May this year. Stay tuned!
