The event was part of National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day— a time of remembrance that honors loved ones who have lost their lives due to fentanyl. Fentanyl use is the leading cause of death among people aged 18 to 45 in the United States. Besides offering haircuts and handing out school supplies, seven professional barbers were trained to hold conversations about substance use and prevention as they assisted and gave haircuts to the kids and young persons.

Mentor Foundation USA was grateful to take part in this event and to spread awareness on this significant problem!
