2019 ‘Living the Example’ National Video Contest

Mentor Foundation USA's Annual 'Living the Example' National Video Contest is right around the corner! Each year we have the pleasure to invite youth from all over the U.S. to participate in our youth contest where they have the chance to showcase how they are living the example and making a difference in their community.

To further our initiative to prevent substance abuse among youth, Mentor is launching its 5th annual Living the Example Video Contest across the country for students to showcase healthy living in 30-60 seconds.

The contest is open to all U.S. youth (ages 13-24). The video should empower young adults to live healthy, drug free lives. Mentor first launched the contest in 2012 and has reached more than 200,000 people nationwide. The contest gives students a chance to showcase their version of healthy living that they believe their peers can follow. Our goal is for these students to be able to reach their peers in a relatable way so they may follow each other’s examples to support substance free living.

The contest kicks off May 20th and the deadline is June 16. This year’s prize will be a trip for 2 to the City of Angels for a red carpet event plus a cash prize! The  2nd  place winner will receive a $500 cash prize and the 3rd place winner will receive a $300 cash prize. We can’t wait to see your submissions!
