Mentor Foundation USA recently announced that Mentor’s Youth Advisory Committee President Jeremy Dawidowicz had been presented with an award by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), in appreciation of his support and participation in the DEA’s National Red Ribbon Rally!
The National Red Ribbon Rally is arranged to initiate the DEA’s annual Red Ribbon Week initiative, which focuses on raising awareness about the importance of staying drug-free, and during the 2021 Red Ribbon Rally, Jeremy performed a poem which he had written for the cause (learn more here).
Honestly, receiving the award was quite a surprise. I am just fortunate enough to have the opportunity to support the efforts of such a profound campaign hosted by the DEA, and being awarded for my efforts, it feels great!

When asked about his thoughts and feelings on receiving an award like this from the DEA, Jeremy expresses that recognition is one of the most motivating aspects in a person’s professional life, especially coming from a large federal agency like the Drug Enforcement Administration.
They (DEA) have been supporting Mentor USA’s crucial work for many years now, and it is a complete honor to be recognized by them.
