Youth Advisory Committee deliver meals to elderly amid COVID-19
This year, amid a global coronavirus pandemic that’s been especially deadly to the elderly and others with preexisting conditions, Youth Advisory Committee decided to help out the Department of Aging and Disabilities Senior Nutrition Program and the Pasadena Senior Activity Center deliver food to the elderly in the Pasadena area.
September is Suicide Prevention Month
Suicide is the second leading cause of death among youth age 15-24. Studies show that substance use occurs more frequently as one of the risk factors among youth who have completed suicide.
